Snowball Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a beautiful freshwater shrimp variety admired for their translucent white to pearl-colored bodies and their striking white eggs, which resemble tiny snowballs when females are berried. Their elegant appearance makes them an excellent choice for planted aquariums and peaceful community tanks.
These active shrimp continuously graze on biofilm, algae, and leftover food while adding graceful movement throughout the aquarium. Hardy, peaceful, and easy to care for, Snowball Shrimp are ideal for both beginners and experienced shrimp keepers. Given stable water conditions, they readily breed in freshwater aquariums.
