110% DOA Guarantee / Returns

If your plants arrive DOA (only applicable if the Express shipping option is chosen), please provide us with clear pictures of the plants in their original packaging on the day of delivery. This allows us to verify the condition and offer 110% of the amount spent on plants back as store credit.*

Customers are responsible for regularly checking their tracking number(s) for updates and ensuring they are available to receive the order on the first delivery attempt by the postal or courier service. If you miss the first delivery attempt, the DOA guarantee does not apply.

If we send you the wrong item due to an error on our side, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Once we verify the photos, store credit will be processed within 2-4 business days.

Aquascaperoom Canada reserves the right to hold shipments due to weather conditions or other uncontrollable factors. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@aquascaperoom.ca.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you wish to return. We will respond promptly with instructions on how to return your item.

Return policy

At Aquascaperoom Canada, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please review our return policy below:

• Dry goods: We accept returns for unopened dry goods only. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the original purchase date, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Store credit: Once we receive and inspect the returned items, a store credit will be issued. The credit will be applied to your account after confirming that the products are in their original, unopened condition.
• Live plants: Due to the nature of live plants, we do not accept returns for any form of live plants, including potted plants, bundles, loose plants, or tissue cultures.
• Restocking Fee: 10% of the product price will be deducted from the credit.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 48 hours of placing it. Upon cancellation, store credit will be issued. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear in your Aquascaperoom account.

Shipping (frequency, cut-off, & discounts)

Shipping frequency and cut-off

The cut-off for Monday shipments is Sunday at 12 PM (EST). Orders placed after this time will ship the following Monday, unless otherwise specified on our shipping calendar, which can be found here.

Shipping dates are regularly updated on the event calendar. Regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout, your order will be shipped on the next available shipping date, according to our event calendar. We typically ship on Mondays to avoid weekend delays.

Shipping discounts

We offer tiered shipping discounts based on your order total within Canada:

• Orders between $40 and $89.99: $17.99 Regular (3-7 business days, NO DOA Guarantee) / $28.99 Express (1-4 business days, 110% DOA Guarantee)
• Orders between $90 and $109.99: $15.99 Regular (3-7 business days, NO DOA Guarantee) / $26.99 Express (1-4 business days, 110% DOA Guarantee)
• Orders between $110 and $129.99: $13.99 Regular (3-7 business days, NO DOA Guarantee) / $24.99 Express (1-4 business days, 110% DOA Guarantee)
• Orders over $150: Free Regular Shipping (3-7 business days, NO DOA Guarantee) / $19.99 Express (1-4 business days, 110% DOA Guarantee)

Winter shipping rates

Winter shipping rates begin on November 1st (subject to change based on weather conditions). During the winter months, we equip packages with heat packs and insulation to protect plants from cold weather, which increases shipping costs.

Courier rural charge

If your shipping postal code is located in a rural area where the courier applies an additional delivery charge, this fee will be included during checkout. The typical charge is $10.

Promotions & sales

Promotions and sales are valid only during the specified promotion period, typically running from Monday to Sunday, unless stated otherwise. Rain checks are not available during promotions. Additionally, orders placed before a new promotion cannot be price-matched.

Coupons are not valid during storewide promotions unless otherwise specified.

*Due to the high cost of shipping in some rural areas of Canada, Aquascaperoom reserves the right to cancel orders where shipping costs are deemed excessive. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
