Chocolate Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a beautiful freshwater shrimp variety admired for their rich chocolate-brown coloration and peaceful nature. Their deep earthy tones create a striking natural look in planted aquariums, especially when contrasted against vibrant green plants and lighter aquarium substrates.
These active shrimp spend their day grazing on biofilm, algae, and leftover food while continuously exploring the aquarium. Hardy and beginner-friendly, Chocolate Shrimp thrive in a wide range of freshwater conditions and readily breed in mature planted aquariums.
