Description

Ludwigia repens is a staple in the hobby, arguably one of the most commonly available aquarium plants around the world.

Ludwigia repens is one of the easier red plants to grow in the aquarium, being able to grow in even lower light conditions (minimum 1.75 watts per gallon). This is not to say that it will grow quickly in low light, but it will survive. If your tank is well lit this will encourage red coloration, dosing will help produce strong red colors out of this plant.

    Better than expected!

This plant here is just beautiful. I received a much larger bunch than I was expecting and it was also much longer (between 8-10 inches) and fuller than I was thinking I would get. The maroon-ish shades are a striking contrast to the greens of most plants, and although it had been in a box for at least 4 days when I unpacked it (one of those days was my fault), it emerged in absolutely pristine condition. In the week + it's been in the tank, its only gotten more beautiful with new growth on every stem and no melting. Love this product and highly recommend!

This came clean and carefully packaged. I experienced some leaf die off after I planted it which is normal, and its looking a bit leggy on its bottom half, but the tops are growing wonderfully and I will be able to propagate them soon.

Unfortunately lost almost all of its leaves right after planting, but it is recovering quite well. I have to give it a month or so before I can truly review it. It is ok so far.
