This dwarf form of the long known Cardinal flower is cultivated since 2004, also as Lobelia cardinalis "Kleine Form" "Wavy" and "Nana". It can be variously used in the foreground and midground, also in nano tanks.
Natural History
Lobelia cardinalis 'small form' is a very interesting cultivar of the larger-growing standard form of L. cardinalis. It can be discerned from the latter by its rounder, coin-shaped leaves and the far smaller overall stature. Up to now, only Oriental Aquaria in Singapore is selling the true cultivar of this attractive small plant.
Pro Tips
As with many plants, insufficient light will result in this plant "reaching" for the light. Sufficient light combined with CO2 and nutrients will help keep this plant compact. Tops can be cut and replanted to further increase the look of "bushiness"

I had 2 items arrive in not so good health but that probably happened during shipping and not because of the company, regardless I was refunded the 110% store credit for the items.
