Janglewood is a stunning and versatile aquarium driftwood, perfect for aquascaping in both freshwater and planted tanks. Known for its dense, natural structure and rugged, branch-like form, Janglewood creates an instant focal point in any aquarium layout. Its thicker, gnarled features make it ideal for creating caves, hiding spots, and natural-looking hardscape foundations. It pairs beautifully with mosses, Anubias, Bucephalandra, and other aquatic plants.
As with all natural driftwood, Janglewood may release tannins that can cause a light yellow or brown tint in the water. This is completely natural, harmless to fish and plants, and will gradually reduce over time. Pre-soaking or boiling the driftwood helps reduce tannin release and encourages the wood to sink faster.
Janglewood may float when first introduced if not pre-soaked or weighed down, but typically becomes fully waterlogged within a few days.
