Hygrophila difformis, commonly known as Water Wisteria, is a fast-growing and highly adaptable stem plant recognized for its finely divided, lace-like leaves. Its soft, feathery texture adds movement and volume to planted aquariums while also providing excellent cover for fish and shrimp.
This species is especially popular for its ability to absorb excess nutrients, making it a strong natural aid in maintaining water quality. Due to its forgiving nature and rapid growth, Hygrophila difformis is well suited for both beginner aquarists and experienced Aquascapers.
