Hemianthus micranthemoides (Pearlweed)
Hemianthus micranthemoides, commonly known as Pearlweed, is a fast-growing, fine-leaf stem plant widely used in Aquascaping for its versatility and ease of shaping. With regular trimming, it can be maintained as a low, dense carpet or allowed to grow taller as a midground to background bush, making it one of the most flexible plants in planted aquariums.
Growth behaviour: Pearlweed responds quickly to trimming. Frequent cuts encourage compact, bushy growth, while less maintenance allows it to grow taller and more open.
Trim and replant tops to quickly fill in open areas and increase density.
