Red Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are among the most popular freshwater shrimp in the aquarium hobby. Their vibrant red coloration, peaceful temperament, and ease of care make them an excellent choice for beginners and experienced aquarists alike.
These active shrimp spend their day grazing on biofilm, algae, and leftover food while adding constant movement and brilliant color to planted aquariums. Red Cherry Shrimp also reproduce readily in freshwater, making them one of the easiest ornamental shrimp species to establish and breed.
