This Lagenandra looks a lot like a medium-sized wide-leaved Cryptocoryne. Under good light it has a nice orange-brown to pink leaf colour (sufficient light is needed to develop the pinkish colour). The leaves are 4-8 cm wide and 6-12 cm long, so the whole plant becomes relatively wide.
Natural History
Lagenandra meeboldii originates from the south-Indian states Karnataka and Kerala on shaded marshy riverbanks up to a height of 1200 meters above sea level.
