Anubias Butterfly on Driftwood combines a beautiful, easy-care Anubias with natural driftwood to create a ready-to-place planted aquarium feature. The broad green foliage provides an instant mature appearance while the natural wood adds texture and structure to your aquascape.
Because the Anubias is already attached to the driftwood, there is no need to plant it into the substrate. Simply position the piece in your aquarium and incorporate it into your existing rocks, wood, or planted layout.
Typical overall size is approximately 4" × 4". As both the plant and driftwood are natural products, the exact shape, size, amount of foliage, and appearance will vary from piece to piece.
Placement: Foreground to midground, depending on aquarium size and layout.
Lighting: Low to moderate lighting.
COâ‚‚: Not required. Supplemental COâ‚‚ can encourage stronger growth but is entirely optional.

Anubias is one of the most popular choices for beginner and low-tech planted aquariums because it does not require intense lighting, injected COâ‚‚, or nutrient-rich substrate. Its slow growth also means considerably less trimming than many fast-growing aquarium plants.
Since this plant is already attached to driftwood, the rhizome remains exposed rather than being buried in the substrate. This makes the piece especially easy to position and reposition as your aquascape develops.
This compact planted driftwood piece works especially well around larger rocks, between pieces of hardscape, or at the transition between the foreground and midground. Multiple pieces can also be grouped together to create a larger, mature-looking planted area.
