ADA CO₂ Clear Parts Set

The ADA CO₂ Clear Parts Set is a convenient maintenance and installation kit containing the essential small accessories used when connecting glass CO₂ equipment in a planted aquarium.

The set includes suction cups, silicone tubing, and a check valve, making it ideal for replacing aging components or completing the installation of a glass CO₂ diffuser or other compatible glass CO₂ equipment.

Although manufactured by Aqua Design Amano, these components are not limited to a complete ADA CO₂ system. They can be incorporated into standard planted aquarium CO₂ setups where the connections are appropriately sized.

Ideal for CO₂ System Maintenance

Small CO₂ components naturally wear with continued use. Suction cups can lose flexibility and grip, while tubing can gradually harden after extended exposure to aquarium water. The Clear Parts Set provides the commonly needed components in one convenient package.

ADA recommends replacing the check valve approximately once per year. When replacing the check valve, replacing aging silicone tubing at the same time is also recommended.

For Glass CO₂ Equipment

The included flexible tubing is intended for connections to glass CO₂ products such as diffusers. Its flexibility allows it to fit securely over delicate glass connections while maintaining the clean appearance expected in a planted aquarium.

The clear components also minimize the visual impact of CO₂ equipment, making the set particularly well suited to rimless aquariums and Nature Aquarium layouts.

Important CO₂ Tubing Note The flexible tubing supplied in this set is intended for connections to glass CO₂ equipment. High-pressure CO₂ connections between a regulator and check valve should use appropriate pressure-resistant CO₂ tubing rather than flexible silicone tubing.
