Enhance your planted aquarium with Tropica Aquarium Soil, a complete and active substrate designed to promote healthy plant growth and vibrant colors. Available in 3L and 9L bags, this substrate provides an optimal environment for aquatic plants, ensuring they thrive from the start.
To calculate the amount of Tropica Aquarium Soil needed for your tank, use the formula:
Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Desired Layer Thickness (cm) ÷ 1000 = Liters of Soil Needed
For example, for a tank measuring 90 cm in length, 60 cm in width, and a desired substrate layer of 8 cm:
90 × 60 × 8 ÷ 1000 = 43.2 liters of soil required.
It's recommended to make the substrate layer thicker towards the rear wall to create a visually appealing effect. During the first four weeks after establishing the aquarium, change 25–50% of the water at least twice a week to maintain optimal water conditions.
Tropica Aquarium Soil is crafted to provide a nurturing environment for aquatic plants, ensuring they receive the necessary nutrients and conditions to flourish. Its ability to lower pH and influence water chemistry makes it an excellent choice for aquarists aiming to create a thriving, plant-rich aquarium.
Elevate your aquarium's health and aesthetics with Tropica Aquarium Soil, the ideal substrate for vibrant and robust aquatic plant growth.
