110% DOA Guarantee / Returns
If your plants arrive DOA (only applicable when Express Shipping is selected), please email us clear photos of the plants in their original packaging on the day of delivery. This allows us to verify the claim and issue 110% of the plant value as store credit once approved.*
Customers are responsible for actively monitoring their tracking number(s) and ensuring someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. If the first delivery attempt is missed for any reason, the DOA guarantee will no longer apply.
Shipping Modifications: Any changes made to a shipment after it has shipped — including address changes, delivery redirects, or requests to hold the package at a courier depot — will result in an additional 1–2 business days of transit time and will immediately void the DOA guarantee. For this reason, we strongly urge customers not to modify shipments once they are in transit.
If an incorrect item is sent due to an error on our end, Aquascaperoom Canada will cover the cost of return shipping.
Once photos are reviewed and approved, store credit will be issued within 2–4 business days.
Aquascaperoom Canada reserves the right to delay or hold shipments due to severe weather or other uncontrollable factors in order to protect live plants. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@aquascaperoom.ca.
If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details of the product you wish to return. We will respond promptly with return instructions.
*110% DOA Guarantee applies to plant value only and excludes shipping fees and applicable taxes.
Return Policy
At Aquascaperoom Canada, we aim to be fair and transparent. Please review our return policy below:
- Dry goods: Returns are accepted on unopened dry goods only. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Store credit: Once returned items are received and inspected, store credit will be issued to your account, provided items are unused and unopened.
- Live plants: Due to the nature of live plants, all sales are final. We do not accept returns on any live plants, including potted plants, bundles, loose plants, or tissue cultures.
- Restocking fee: A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from eligible returns.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of being placed. Cancellations are issued as store credit only. Please allow 3–5 business days for the credit to appear in your Aquascaperoom account.

Shipping schedule
Orders are prepared on Mondays and shipped across Canada on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, unless otherwise noted on our shipping calendar.
Occasionally, we may ship on Thursdays to neighbouring provinces or major cities. Shipping dates are always reflected on our event calendar.
Regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout, orders ship on the next available shipping date listed on our calendar. We typically ship early in the week to avoid weekend delays.

- $40 – $89.99: $17.99 Regular (3–7 business days, no DOA) / $28.99 Express (1–4 business days, 110% DOA)
- $90 – $109.99: $15.99 Regular / $26.99 Express
- $110 – $129.99: $13.99 Regular / $24.99 Express
- $150+: Free Regular Shipping / $19.99 Express
Winter Shipping
Winter shipping rates begin November 1st (subject to weather conditions). During winter months, packages include insulation and heat packs to protect plants, which increases shipping costs.

Courier Rural Charge
Orders shipping to rural postal codes may incur an additional courier surcharge, typically $10, which will be displayed at checkout.
Promotions & Sales
Promotions are valid only during the stated promotion period. Rain checks are not available, and orders placed prior to a promotion cannot be price-matched.
Coupons are not valid during storewide promotions unless explicitly stated.
Due to high courier costs in certain rural areas, Aquascaperoom Canada reserves the right to cancel orders where shipping costs are deemed excessive. In these cases, a full refund will be issued.
