Sea Grape leaves are one of the longest lasting leaves used in terrariums, vivariums and aquariums due to their thickness from the long growing season in the southern United States. Due to the leaves round shape and tropical appearance, Sea Grape leaf litter can offer a more tropical feel to any scape than other varieties of leaf litter.
Nutritional Benefits:
Natural leaf litter is the #1 source of biofilm for aquariums. These leaves decay over a long period of time and are safe to remain in the tank until completed decomposed. Microfauna, snails, and shrimp will readily eat Sea Grape leaves.
Preparation:
Boil leaves for 10 minutes and then let soak for 1 hour. Afterwards rinse and place into aquarium.
Each pack comes with 10 leaves and each leaf ranges from 2'' - 7'' in length.
