This species is native to southern China where it is found in swamps. It is a slow growing stem plant.
Medium to strong lighting, regular macro- and micronutrient supply and CO2 are recommended.
As well as other stem plants, it is easily propagated by cuttings.
This Pogostemon is great as a low-growing compact bush in the middle of your scape!
