Anubias Barteri is easy and ideal for beginners.otherwise slow growing and undemanding midground plant. It is best to plant anubias in shade or low light to restrict algae growth on the leaves.
To propagate, cut the rhizome into two or more pieces ensuring that there are leaves on all segments. Avoid covering the rhizome when planted to keep it from rotting. Easily fasten to driftwood or rock with fishing line or thread. Anubias is typically not eaten by herbivorous fish.
