Normal vs. Powder Type

The main difference between the standard Aqua Soil and the Powder Type lies in the grain size:

• Normal Type: Regular-sized granules, best for general substrate coverage, supporting medium to large plants, and building structural height in the aquascape.
• Powder Type: Finer granules that create a denser surface — excellent for carpeting plants like Monte Carlo, Glossostigma, or HC Cuba. Powder Type also helps stabilize small delicate stems and provides better early root development for foreground species.
