Pacific Wood is similar in texture and colour to the much more known, Malaysian driftwood. However, Pacific driftwood comes with an abundance of knots, tangles and overall character.
Combining a few pieces will form an eye-catching centerpiece. Its darkish brown coloration when wet will lend way to a natural look to any freshwater aquarium.
Its greatest advantage is its density, meaning pre-soaking or boiling is not necessary to waterlogg it. However, we do suggest boiling any driftwood to rid away any dirt, debris or bacteria before placing into your aquarium.
Please note, Pacific wood does leach tannins but will dissipate over time.
